London - Loom to the Moon

On Thursday, Claire's Accessories launched their Loom Sofa in support of Loom to the Moon. It was a fantastic event which saw hundreds of people young and old posing on the sofa! It was also the public launch of Zoom, the looming raccoon with her beautiful loom band waist coat. Zoom entertained the children by dancing, giving out high fives and cuddles on the sofa. It brought huge smiles to the faces of the children.

While Sally has been working tirelessly behind the scenes on the Loom to the Moon campaign, she has, until this week felt unable to leave the house for any reason other than absolute necessity. She knew she needed to be in London, so devised a plan (as only Sally can) to masquerade as a happy looming raccoon, whilst hiding her own anguish and misery. Even Jesse was party to this deception, referring to her as "Big Raccoon" all day! Between now and Christmas, she plans to 'help' Zoom visit as many Paediatric Oncology Wards as possible, handing out free loom bands to the patients, to bring a smile and invite them to be part of the 'World Record' attempt.
