Waitrose Charity Grocery Bag Pack / Carol Singing

Thanks to an enthusiastic team of bag packers / carol singers, our charity grocery pack raised £1,355! I won't lie, it is not always easy to enlist helpers at this busy time of year but we were thrilled with the wonderful team that offered to help this year and it was great to see that there is still so much love and good will for BLUE SKYE THINKING.

Anneli Dance School Summer Challenge

The popular Anneli Dance School, set it's dancers a summer challenge where they were tasked with hosting a fundraising event and the group who raised the most would have the opportunity to choreograph their very own number which would open the show at the big Christmas Showcase Performance!   They had cake sales, danceathons, fun days, sponsored silence, people handcuffed together and face painting.  All of which has raised a whopping total of £1098.97!!!! There were two winners. The Jellytoots girls – Amira, Lola, Rosie, Amelia, Millie, Eloise and Sienna who raised £505 and dance partners Tilly Brook and Tilly Coats-Patel who raised £352.10. Both dances at the showcase were fantastic and were very well received by an appreciative audience. Well done!

Happy 60th Birthday!

What better way to spend one's 60th Birthday than to have a beer at the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro!!!! We are blown away by Rodney Benson's commitment and enthusiasm for helping Charities.  What massively 'Blue Sky' approach to celebrating a birthday! Having raised £3,000, we think the beer should be on us!!  https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/roddybenson60

Truck Music Festival

Our amazing volunteers survived the mud at this year's Truck Festival and made a whooping £3,000 for the charity. Despite very challenging weather conditions, team Skye pulled together and remained up beat as they served delicious pasties and sausage rolls to the revellers. A special thanks to the wonderful Sophie Payne who co-ordinated the volunteers, Jon George and Paul Ewart for making some super cool sign boards and James Hart from Delicious of Wantage for generally being an all round amazing guy! Getting closer to our charity targets every day but by crikey, fundraising is not for the faint hearted!! All support gratefully received.

Anneli Summer Show

The amazing Anneli Dance Studio in Cheltenham chose Blue Skye Thinking as their Charity to support for their Summer Show. The production was a spectacular showcase of all the dance classes held at the prestigious studio and donations were given instead of charging for a glossy program so there were winners all round! A spectacular £437 was raised on the night and a Summer Dance Challenge has been set for all the studio's students so watch this space for more fundraising appearances on our 'fundraising wall of fame'!
